What does the S on DHO914S and DHO924S mean?
The S models include RIGOL's built-in signal source (arbitrary waveform generator), which also drives the Bode plot function. Otherwise they match the DHO914 and DHO924.
Do I need anything extra for the digital channels?
Yes, the PLA2216 16-channel logic probe. The channels are built in, but the probe is sold separately.
